Maximize Your Shipyard’s Emergency Response, Equipment Storage, and Salvage Operations with FireSafe Damage Control Repair Station

Shipyards are full of fire hazards that threaten not only employees but also logistic operations. More than one major cargo-related fire is reported every ten days. Unfortunately, firefighters and paramedics have difficulty reaching remote shipyards and are woefully unprepared to combat maritime accidents. Onsite emergency response staging areas can save lives while also protecting valuable equipment.

Our FireSafe Damage Control Repair stations provide secure storage areas for readily available fire-fighting and personal protective equipment within 300 feet of a ship’s brow. A FireSafe DCR station is a Connex box with emboldened safety features for secure equipment storage. Each weatherproof DCR box is fortified with solid-steel welds and explosion-proof paneling, protecting emergency response equipment while enhancing crew response times. Additionally, we outfit each DCR station with heat and air conditioning systems and mechanical ventilation to facilitate damage control equipment breakout while maintaining internal ambient temperatures.

What is a Portable Damage Control Repair Locker?
