CUSTOM DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED CHEMICAL STORAGE LOCKERS
Chemical Storage Lockers by US Hazmat Rentals are available in various sizes to meet your hazardous material storage needs. This includes chemical storage drum or barrel storage capacities from 1 drum up to 57 barrels in a single 40′ storage locker with up to a four-hour fire rating and a 0-10′ setback tolerance. This means our units can be used inside existing facilities to minimize handling and optimize your work-flow. The features and versatility of our solutions ease the burden of storing virgin chemicals, paints, corrosives, and more. Don’t risk a storage compliance fine or worse. Our custom lockers meet or exceed NFPA Code 30 specifications, EPA and OSHA standards. Our explosive magazines meet Title 27 code of Federal Regulations and Sec.55.11 of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm (ATF) Regulations.
FIRE SUPPRESSION
Adequate and accessible fire suppression systems are included. Our dry chem systems include a UL, ULC Listed and FM Approved Dry Chemical Fire Suppression for class A, B and C fires and NFPA compliance. System comes equipped for remote annunciation, and includes fusible link detection, a manual pull station, and multiple nozzles for total flooding. Agent is stored in a weatherproof enclosure on the exterior, and it also includes an audible alarm for added safety.
SPILL CONTAINMENT SUMP
Our custom-engineered lockers feature secondary containment sump flooring designed to prevent external contamination due to a leak of solid hazardous material or liquid chemicals in the event of a spill. This specifically designed spill containment meets EPA spill containment capacity and OSHA compliance. The flooring is fabricated from welded steel grating for secure and stable support, and this creates a leakproof spill-containment sump below. A high-density polyethylene sump liner is an added layer of protection.
