An Unfortunate Tragedy in Central Texas
On Sunday at 6:11 PM, farm owner Kevin Huffman reported an explosion of agricultural chemicals that were being stored at Huffman Farms. The explosion killed one man, Charl Wynard Swart, and injured two others. They seem likely to survive, and are currently being treated for burns and other injuries. It is not known what caused the chemical explosion or what chemical was in the storage tank, and the burns of the injured men are not known to be thermal or chemical. Although there is no sign that a fire was the cause of the explosion, there are many questions that still need to be answered. Police that are investigating the tragedy are waiting for the conditions of the injured men to improve before making their inquiries.
